have you actually found a store that carries the gillette body wash? I have checked 3 stores in the GR area and none of then carry it!

Bethany,
I found it on the shelf with the sale tag under it on Post Drive in Belmont.

I would like to know if anyone has used the coupons for Gillette and for the suave deodorant. My mother in law tried using the $3.00/2 for the suave today and it wouldn't scan, so they said they couldn't put it through. I have had trouble in the past with Dollar General and Family Dollar not being able to put through coupons that are a $ off of 2 products. Seems they don't know how to do this and don't try. Anyone else have luck getting these. Maybe Suave will be cheap somewhere else where the coupons will actually go through.

I've also had problems with getting the $3/2 Suave deo. coupons to go through at Dollar General. But Walmart has these for $1.97 ea. so they would be $0.47 ea. after coupon when you buy two. That's pretty cheap for deo. Hope this helps.

My thought is that it's partly a training issue. People are getting the deals just fine in some places where the cashiers know how to handle it and not in places where the cashiers don't know how or just won't do it.....FD and DG have only recently begun accepting IP's and it's only been a couple years that I know of that they have been taking coupons at all....I think time will fix this as they become more familiar with what is available.

I live in Ohio, and I have used the $3/2 Suave q at Family Dollar. It beeped, but the cashier broke it down, and took $1.50 off twice.
I think, too, it's lack of knowledge about coupons, and cashier attitude. Some are very helpful with coupons, and some just get quite rude about customers trying to use them.

I just used two Suave $3/2 and the Gillette $4 Q at our Dollar General in Scott, Louisiana and was successful. I had almost walked out of the store without trying because the shelf price was not marked down to the sale price but I decided to try anyways and I'm glad I did. The manager looked curious when I handed him the Suave coupons, but when I explained they were internet manufacturer coupons he put them in and they went through just fine. Paid a whole 75cents for two body washes and 4 deodorants!

The scenario for eight o clock coffee doesn't work. While most of the coupons in the store flyer are DG store coupons, the coffee coupon is actually a Manufacturer's coupon.

The DG in my town (southern IL) had the Gillette body wash, but it didn't have a sale tag on it. It was marked $2.75 (regular price), but the cashier price checked it for me and it was $2. They only had 3 of them, so I got 2 for free and I'll go back for more later on.

I was wondering if you had a list of the in-store coupons. I'm stopping by there today.

Just an FYI....On my Dollar General trip today I did use the Suave $3/2 Q's. I had 2 Q's so got 4. I also got 4 cereals because I had 2, $1.50/2 Q's. But when they ran the second Q for the Suave Deo it beeped and wouldn't take it, and same with the second Q for the cereal. So they had to back out 2 deodorants and 2 cereals and I paid for them in a second transaction. They went fine in the second transaction also. What I don't understand is... I also bought the Welch's juice had 2 Q's bought 2 and they went thru just fine the first time. They did not have the Gillette body wash. But no worries I got everything else. Just had to do it in 2 separate transactions. Just thought you'd like a heads up, just in case this happens to someone else.

Dolar General in my city in Florida would not take the $3.00 off 2 to make it free. The manager was rude and did not know what he was doing. Told me he is not allowed to accept a free coupon. I told him this is not a free coupon but $3.00 off 2. He said it's free so he could not accept it. I told him to charge me the 18 cents tax like all the other retailers do. He still would not allow me to use it, so I called corporate and left a message and am waiting for the District Manager to call me back.
