Food Tally 7/17/10 *Bought prettymuch nutin' edition

PinIt

My goal is to be at a $30 OOP (budget from paycheck) each week for what I buy in food. I feed a family of 4 - 2 Adults and 2 Children ages 6 and 8. This tally is to show you the creative ways that I keep to that goal. For my newest readers: We do not eat just on what was purchased this week. To get a better picture of what we are eating, you need to look through a couple months worth of Food Tally and Baking Day posts so you know what is in my pantry/freezer.

I was $14.62 UNDER last week, so I have $44.62 to spend.

Family Fare - 3 Gallons Milk, 1 Sliced Italian Bread = Total OOP $5.98

Yup, that's it for the week. My fridge is bare, my freezer is pretty sad, my pantry is thinning out. I hadn't intended to eat from my stockpile, but we just got busy and decided to make due with what we had and splurge with a couple meals out when we were busy and out and about because we had the wiggle room in our funds for that.

That means I was $38.64 UNDER this week! It's time to stock up again on our fresh and frozen stuff!
