Slow Cooker Moscato Herb Chicken

PinIt

Remember those $.58/# chickens at Family Fare a couple weeks ago? I received some FlipFlop Moscato Wine to experiment with, so I set about having a little fun with the chicken. This is what I came up with:

Slow Cooker Moscato Herb Chicken:

1 Cup FlipFlop Moscato Wine
1 Tablespoon Parsley
1 Tablespoon Basil
1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt/Powder/Minced
4 Tablespoons Butter

Combine room temperature FlipFlop Moscato wine with herbs while butter melts in the microwave.

Whisk it all together withe the melted butter.

Baste over chicken, pour remaining into the cavity of the chicken. (Some will come out when you put the chicken in the slow cooker.)

Ball up and place four pieces of aluminum foil in the bottom of your slow cooker. Place the chicken on top.
Cook on low for about 7 hours or on high for about 4 hours. About once per hour, take a cooking brush and reapply mixture to the top for added flavor.

Enjoy!

I received review bottles of FlipFlop Moscato Wine to share my creation with you. Please see my Disclosure Policy.
